The Pop-up Gallery will be transformed into a “mad queer brain” and will be a hub to showcase visual art, performance, poetry, music and multi-media installations by Workman Arts artists. Open from dusk until dawn, visitors to the space will be able to experience the artists’ interpretation of the inside of a mad queer brain.
Workman Arts is a not-for-profit arts organization that provides training and exhibition opportunities for artists who have received services for mental health and addiction. Currently supporting over 300 member artists, Workman Arts seeks to challenge stigma and misconceptions relation to mental health and addiction, using art as the starting point for conversation.
