Exploding Pink Inevitable: Photos by John Simone is an installation of 12 monumental photos of NYC celebrities and fabulous nobodies that chronicles the evolution of the avant-garde in New York nightlife.John Simone began providing Details magazine with nightlife photos in 1987.

Michael Alig made Simone Chief Photographer for Project X Magazine in 1988. Simone was Xtra’s columnist Johnny Paparazzo (1995-2005). His work has been seen in 30 international magazines and exhibited in NYC and in Toronto.
